The main thrust of the concert of Dominika Ács and Krisztián Oláh is to find the intersections that can be born from the collaboration of two open-minded artists. For this reason, their repertoire will be based on Western European classical works, performed in their own transcriptions. These pieces are accompanied by Ligeti's music and their own compositions, showcasing their shared world and expressive style. In this way, they try to build a bridge between interpretation, selected works and improvisation. Through the interplay of flute-piano singing and various percussion instruments, they are constantly searching for a modern, contemporary sound, and improvisation plays an important role, as musicians today are increasingly rediscovering this performance tool. The visual world of the concert is an attempt to create a world that is the meeting point of classical and contemporary thinking."
